Is the antenna for the garage door hanging down & free?

My in-laws got a new garage door opener installed & it worked sporadically
and only when the car was at a certain place in the driveway. The installer
had wrapped the antenna around the metal support bracket. I freed it up and
the door remote works great now.

Along the same thread: possibly installing a sheet of foil - aluminum bubble
or ? insulation above the motor/receiver on the ceiling might shield the
radio for the garage door opener. This same product [www.radiantfoil.com]
totally blocks all radio reception in our yurt & 3 buildings on our property
& all have foil insulation barriers.

Let us know if you try this & it works.

This is a new one..not critical issue, just very curious.

7.92kW Enphase IQ6 system on garage roof. There seems to be some RFI(?) that
is preventing the garage door remote from operating unless it is right at
the door. Works ok at night and in cloudy weather, but in full sun it isn't
operating as usual before system installed.

Small inconvenience but a curious situation.

Any thoughts?
