Jerry, Why do you have to meet rapid shutdown on an existing installation please?
Down here in the central Sierra we have been uninsurable for fire really since we built the home. Many of my clients self-insure offgrid. We do the best we can for installation and fire hardening and then just cross the fingers. I am interested in this subject because it will get looked at more. Since I mostly always use ground mounted solar I have not been as concerned. You guys really had it bad. I can't imagine all the fires we have had here with those kinds of wind speeds.
