Hi Jay, We just had the same situation, client had a set of Concorde 8D's that were at least 20 years old. Racking in place.
We replaced with East Penn Intimidator series 8D AGM's for simplicity. I was planning on using the OB PLC 200 but is discontinued and the replacement is 1-2 months out. They were 3000 cycles to 50% DOD. Wondering what people would recommend. Lithium is not an option, too expensive up front. He’s already got a 3 tier racking system for the 8D’s. Any recommendations as to either best cycle life 8D or something might fit into the same rack, which the OB would have. Right now I’m leaning towards just having him wait, which he can do as it’s his 2 or 3rd home which he’s not using, and this house is only used infrequently.
