I am looking to add a 120vac Inverter to an existing 12vdc off grid radio
power supply. My concern is that most inverters introduce interference to
the broadcast signal.

>From what I understand, if the GEC is connected at the battery bank (-) the
interference is less. Then the GEC needs to be sized for the battery cable
size. For example if I use a 2000w inverter that would be a 250adc breaker,
4/0 battery cables and a #2 copper GEC. But then what about the GFDI for
the roof top PV. The radio tower can not be with out a reference to ground.

The tower / building is used as a dwelling / office for three seasons and
for search and rescue communication year round.

Not enough solar access for a ground / pole mount array
