G'Day,

I use Cradlepoint and have for too many years. I mainly use
schneider combox with it for a few clients. The introduction of the gateway
has made the data usage go way down as the software is better at minimizing
the packets. Packets is probably the wrong word. I am not sure how much
Optics uses from the mate3 but I would think the latest version of Optics
would be better.

It can be easier to just avoid the web (insight2) for
me to monitor a power system and go into mate3 like I do with
combox/gateway. It depends on what you need and the system owner. They can
all be different. It is nice to see them all in one place on the web also.
The distance to the site and owner savvy often drives all of this..

Hope
this helps. Are you an Aussie in New York?

from a company called MoFi Networks. They offer a unit 4G, for around $320
