I have a Flir One and tested it extensively on Android. It works great in Florida in the morning when there is a big temperature differential, but only good enough to get a general idea of location and truss direction. As soon as the roof surface heats up and the attic temperature stabilizes, it's completely useless. I abandoned the whole idea.
