This can be a tricky installation as the shingle has a bevel that
asphalt does not. Quickmount just uses a larger flashing piece to my
memory, which is not very helpful. Chris Warfel

Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience mounting on a roof with cedar shakes.
I'm most interested in figuring out how you can avoid breaking half
the roof apart and still get trail and panels mounted and wired.
Thanks for any ideas,
Howie
