Hello again,

Just wondering if anyone has been made aware of an ideal solution for failed
Outback boards for the VFX and FX series? Maybe it’s their policy with the
newer FXR series as well but ever since the Alpha Group acquired them around
2010 (I believe that’s when the headaches started anyway) and they stopped
doing the prepaid shipping and replacement boards back and forth I’ve been
collecting a nice little stash of their e-waste. A few times I was able to fit
them in other boxes being sent to back to them but my shelves are getting a bit
encumbered now and in the effort of starting 2021 with less clutter I’ve
decided it’s time to stop collecting truly unusable parts. There are plenty of
other pieces of used equipment I’m still going to hold onto but really can’t
see a purpose for these boards any more. Is there anyone out there taking
advantage of this business opportunity and repairing them or are they truly
destined to e-waste collection? I thought of doing some cool large art piece
out of them as well but thinking I should talk myself out of that option. Any
ideas? My guess is Enersys isn’t going to come up with a solution to this any
time soon either.
