I sill have a few blown 200A fuses from the LG RESU10 48 v test here. They look nasty BTW. Not just open but blown open! How were the rest of the batteries Jay? Curious how they were charged as that is usually the killer. Too much solar or a big charger over 100 ADC?
When we recycle, LFP still goes to the Waste Management commercial site. Guard gates and looks like a prison from the highway near Kettleman City. A real in the middle of nowhere town. I would like any info on recycling. I do not think there is much that is reliable or responsible. It was bad before C19 and I do not see much going on in California. EPA is useless for this in my experience. These folks below will only take 300+ pounds of lithium ion. Anybody used them? https://www.globaltechenvironmental.com/pricing-sheet/?gclid=CjwKCAjwwqaGBhBKEiwAMk-FtHSAOf3YhL2mOheiPOI1YP8ueU2FjyLRdBHFLSXge8PmbQ73IpEIjxoCtf0QAvD_BwE Dave Angelini Offgrid Solar "we go where powerlines don't" http://members.sti.net/offgridsolar/ e-mail [email protected] text 209 813 0060 On Tue, 15 Jun 2021 21:14:34 -0600, Jay wrote: > A fellow installer sent me this just now. > The battery wasn't working, 5v. > He opened it up and it exploded when he opened it.
