Hi Michael,

You can do this with Gateway as each xanbus is isolated
and you will not get the fault of (2) split phase masters on one network. I
do this all of the time as it was my request to Schneider a long ways back.
Others also have been asking.

In a way what you want to do is the best
way as the charger is not influenced by the load. It gives you a spare xw
and alot of other things that make life nice. Gateway is now called Insight
facility. You do not want insight home as it only has one xanbus.

So when
you call support (which I have zero problems with) you really need to be
requesting engineering support. Support is really just for issues with
warranty. They really are not there to train people as it is not their
function. Not saying you need training either. There is so much of XW
equipment out there that people buy a used xw and think support will help
them set it up.

Thanks also for your support last year also. Did you
ever figure a way to get power down into that river canyon with solar up
top on the ridge? We did similar here in Mariposa but did not have your
constraints.

A friend has an off-grid property
that is served by a Canyon Industries AC turbine w/ T"> and monitoring.
Battery bank is connected to a Discover SOC monitor. I guess my questions
are: Do you see any problems with this arrangement? Would having what
amounts to an external load (the output generator) trip things up since
it's not communicating w/ the batteries? Could/Should I include the output
inverter in the Xanbus loop? And/Or can I connect the output inverter to
the Gateway device since it has two inputs, Xanbus 1 and 2. I've tried to
reach Schneider to speak about this to no avail. Great product, not so
great support. Thanks in Advance, Michael
