It is TOO bad to have your integrity questioned at this point in your relationship. Time verses $$$$$, installing the correct & compliant equipment should be a no brainer for your client. There are times that I indicate to the clients, their homeowners insurance will not cover things if there is a fire and you & your insurance will be liable. Yeah I know you probably have made your client aware of all these things but…..sometimes the best job is the one you walk away from. Just offering some support from someone who has “lost” a few clients in the past…. but it comes with a sigh of relief.
