Hi all, I've been searching for a reasonable solution to sealing between panels, such as you might do on a carport that uses the panels for water shedding. I typically use Ironridge rails, so the gaps are small.
I've stumbled across a gasket system from Sun Modo, but that doesn't look like it would fit with the small gaps that Ironridge provides, and from what I can see it would be quite expensive as well. I've also seen a foil backed butyl type tape that might work functionally well, but seems like it would potentially be rather ugly especially if panels were dark framed. There must be at least several options out there given the number of carports. I have never had a call for this as the carpets and sheds I've done to date have had an integral roof that provided the weather sealing. Any products, leads, creative ideas that anyone has would be most welcome.
