Not to sound like a commercial, but I've had good results with "Tub O'Towels" heavy duty wipes.   Its got a lemon base that seems easy on most surfaces, but it will take paint off with a few seconds of elbow grease.   Hoe Depot has them sometimes, or Northern Tool carries them too.  You'll use them for all sorts of stuff; good to keep on the truck.

Hi Mac,

I second the isopropyl alcohol (diluted), a soft cloth, and razor blade if needed.

Magic erasers would probably work too, but I believe they are made from very hard microscopic crystals.

Good luck.

*Subject:* [RE-wrenches] Removing paint from solar modules

Hi Wrenches,

We had some painters try to paint a house in 35 mph winds and (of course) the overspray got onto some recently installed solar modules.  They were using a latex water-based exterior paint.  Are there any mild solvents you might recommend to help clean this up?  Or just elbow grease?

Thanks!
