Hi all I hope some of you might know the answer to these questions.
When a Lithium battery ages, is its voltage reduced? If so by how much? Is the C rate reduced? Is the only change lower amp hours? And finally how does the BMS determine this reduction? How does it know it’s lower capacity without doing a full to empty test? The questions arise from a conversation about adding new to old batteries. Just trying to learn more.
