It’s my understanding that Iron Edison went out of business earlier this year. I did have an issue with a few bad cells in a RB48V300, but after the RMA, no issues to date. And certainly nothing explosive in nature, although I do remember a previous thread about an RB cover blowing off. The take away was…these are not field serviceable units.
