I discovered the cause of my problems: The customer has multiple email addresses. When he created his account on Optics he used a different email address from the one he gave me to use in the invitation. Once we got on the same email address we connected successfully. However on your end, it does say something about the client being able to add the system if they already have an account. I too have come across this exact headache you’re referring to and seems like it always resolves itself by way of the invitation email the installer initiates. Hope that helps. The next step prompts to enter a MAC address but that MAC address is already in the system and the system will not let the customer proceed. I have dealt with this for years.
