Drake, Did you monitor the voltage of this cell / battery? Outside chance it had reversed polarity and was sucking energy from the other batteries. It takes a very abused battery bank for this to happen, but I've experienced it where the worst cell in a 2-volt string will flip polarity when the battery bank voltage crashes. Usually, the cell is very hot at that point too.
