I would consider
1. Rebooting the mate and fm100 back to factory defaults
2. If that doesn’t work. Firmware update or reinstall if it’s the latest
3. Try a new hub. They can fail and it can produce some very odd issues.

Hi Tyrone,
System is in off-grid and generator input mode and both inverters and charge controllers are calibrated correctly and set to 54.4 Vdc absorb and float. Rebulk is at 52.5 Vdc. This is a new issue, but I don’t believe it’s generator related. Without CC comms plugged in, generator is steadily charging. It was serviced recently and has solid voltage and frequency under load. I am all for leaving the comms disconnected, but unfortunately there is no screen on the FM 100, so PV output wouldn’t be visible.
Hi Chris,
Is this new or has it been always like this?

The issue is when the generator is charging the batteries, incoming amperage is all over the place and periodically, gradually drops to 0A then ramps back up. This is creating really long generator run times. When I turn off PV input, same results. When I turn off both PV input and charge controller output (turning off the CC entirely) the inverters hold a steady charge. If I remove the charge controllers comms cable from the hub, they both play nicely and charge cooperatively. This obviously sounds like a communication issue, but unfortunately, without the help of OB tech support, I am left speculating. I have checked all settings with a fine comb and nothing looks to be out of place. Has anyone experienced something similar to this?
