| Michael, I put one in my creek every Spring and take it out when the water gets very low. The only trick is to orient the pump either vertically or horizontally. Grundfos cautions against pumping with the pump at an angle. Since my pump lies horizontally at the bottom of a pool, I also use a sleeve made of 3” PVC over the whole pump to keep leaves and debris away from the pump intake. Bob-O How well do these pumps do with creek supplied water? The SQF has been my go to submersible well pump forever. Never put one in a creek though.
