One of my customers bought a “New” Mate3s (from the new AltE folks).. plugged in the MAC address for OpticsRE and it came up “already registered “.. Called OB tech support, seems the SR and MAC address doesn’t match, the Mate3s with that MAC address is currently registered and on line at a site in PQ.. and the Mate3s with that SR was sold over 8 years ago.. consensus is that it’s a Chinese knock off.. OB Tech says they’ve been around for a few years now.
