Friends:

Has anyone tried the Goodwe battery-less residential PV inverters?

I recommended the A-MS to a colleague and he reported satisfying results.
I tried to buy one of these and the size I wanted was not available.

The supplier offered the MS series of Goodwe inverters but these do not
offer conduit connections. Instead one is supposed to run PV and AC wire
directly into the chassis as, shown below:

If this inverter were to be installed in a readily accessible location,
this wiring method would be a clear violation of 2020 NEC section
690.31(A). All of the residential inverters listed on the web site have
this new wiring scheme which is a non-starter for me.

Does anyone know if the A-MS series will be continued?

Thanks in advance.
