Hi Wayne.

As it’s an offgrid system open loop my preference is for batteries that have a built in display so you don’t need wifi/web connection to monitor.

If the customer has a FNDC or trimetric the accuracy of those with lithium can take a while to dial in.
Having an actual % reading on the battery has been very helpful to the few dozen systems I’ve retro fitted lithium into offgrid systwms.

I also look for batteries that give setup  settings for open loop. Most don’t.

Ive used a few brands and have been happy with eg4.

Out of curiosity 5kwh seems extremely small.

We have an off-grid customer who has a 10KW array and 2 - VFXR3648's, 2 - FM 80's and dying lead acid batts.

I'm looking for advice on pairing something in the range of +/-5 kWh of Lithium (preferably LFP).
I have not yet paired OB with lithium. Compatibility and Reliability are my goal.
What has worked best for you?

Your experience and advice are greatly appreciated.
