I see that diagram in the manual, but it is still strange to me that you need two cables. It seems redundant to make a loop like this. The FlexBoss manual has a similar diagram for paralleling inverters (without the GridBoss), but it states:
*If only two inverters are installed only one parallel cable is required. Two parallel cables will provide redundancy in the event one cable is disconnected or stops working.* I don't think I have ever seen something like that with Cat5 wiring. I would think it would cause more problems than it would solve. I'm going to run two cables today, but I will try just one to see if it works. I'll let you know.
