I thought that Backwoods was selling a 48 volt Sodium Ion battery, but now I only see the 12 volt 100AH option. They also discontinued their LTO options, due to poor adoption of them. Despite everyone saying they wanted a coldweather lithium battery, very few actually wanted to buy them at the price they were. I see so many people trying to use LFP in unheated situations and running into trouble though....
If you want cells, there are quite a few Sodium Ion cells available on Aliexpress now. A lot more than there was a year ago when I ordered some 10AH cylindrical to make a test battery from them. And a fair number of 12 volt options. But if you want complete 48 volt batteries, I'm not seeing any sources for those yet. Currently price of the larger prismatic sodium ion cells seems similar range to the LFP cells, which is better than it was a year ago. -- Zeke Yewdall PV Engineer NABCEP #031508-89 [email protected] 303-523-3592
