I've done an old XW4548 (pre XW+ and pro) with old style discover lithium
batteries, open loop. Victron charge controllers on that one. It works
fine after a little tinkering to get the voltages exactly correct for
grid sell. And I have an off grid XW6848 with an Outback FM100 charge
controller on the white wall mount Iron Edison lithium batteries. Only
real issue with the XW inverters is that you cannot set the LVD low enough
to be of any use with a 16 cell LFP. With a 15 cell LFP it would be
possible... I had to add a separate load shed relay controlled by the aux
of the FM100 on the off grid one to dump the loads when battery voltage got
below 50 volts. I'd be hesitant to try to do closed loop with any
Schneider equipment though, unless I had a lot of time to mess with it... I
always felt that their hardware was bulletproof, but their software
interface left a lot to be desired, especially the pro (that's when I
stopped using Schneider).
