Hi jim As you have 4 battereis in series, you should use balancing devices between them. The kilovaukt are very susceptible to getting out of balance between batteries.
I had to work with a customer to fix his kilovault battereis. Numerous failures which was traced back to broken balancers. Victron make good ones.
