Picking up a dormant subject, has anyone used the EG4 Chargeverter yet?
Impressions? They are shipping now from one of my distributors.

I'm also wondering if they could be paralleled onto the battery for double
the amps, I see no reason why not. That would be cheaper than buying a 10kw
inverter/charger to use as a dumb battery charger only.

My application is to use them with a totally manual start/stop genny for
emergency charge. Open loop with existing inverter.

FYI, there are some portable-looking 48v 50-100A chargers in the range of
$600-$800 online, no doubt Chinese, but if you're only using it a few times
a year....
