I’ve seen GFCI have all sorts of weird issues. Not enough data to
put the blame on the inverter.
I’d try different big load or move the device to a different
outlet and see what it does.

Good luck

I called EG4 tech support about this question. They said to use a
commercial grade, 20 A GFCI receptacle.

My question is: "isn't a 15 and 20 A GFCI electronically the same?
Isn't the only difference in the faceplate?"

Thank you,

Drake

A commercial grade, Hubble GFCI receptacle is nuisance tripping on
an EG4 XP6000 inverter. It holds fine on an LED light bulb. Under a
heavy load (PVC Heater), it trips after a minute or so.

Is there a GFCI receptacle brand that works better with the XP6000
inverter?

Thank you,

Drake

The followup is that I changed the GFCI to a 20 A rated version, and it held the load.
