Hi All I have been using Reactor for several of my projects. Two of which are on shared hosting.
Firstly, I have to say I think Reactor is great and I push it as my preferred ORM for any new projects. One BIG problem that I currently face is a performance issue with it on shared hosting ( HMS - CF8 ). I have noted that when my site is loaded for the first time , it is VERY VERY VERY slow in completing the creation of the reactor factory along with the creation of any gateways, records and dao's. I have ensure that the mode has been set to production in the XML. Reactor works great in development and on several dedicated hosting servers that I have used it on. The only problem is CF8 on a shared hosting. Has anyone experienced this performance issue with Reactor on shared hosting ? If so, can you please provide any feedback? Is it something i can fix or is this simply a shared hosting issue? I am sure a lot of others use Reactor on shared hosting and with HMS with out any issues.
