Doug, What version / type of db2 were you working with? We are using db2 on an as/400 and im not sure if or how that might differ from a db2 database in other systems...
I started poking around ( since as im sure you have found we do not have an information_schema table ) and found what would be needed for the introspection into the tables. I'll see about pulling down from the svn to see if it will work but was just curious what sort of db2 system you were working with?
