In the whole O/S, DBMS, CF version matrix, I think it's OK to have some
untested gaps - if you can cover the major bases and at least one of each
DBMS, that should be enough to give you satisfaction that all is OK.

With you. There is no reason why each 'test server' can't just use the same
config file though. Indeed, this may well be advantageous.
Each one then sends up the test output HTML to the main server, maybe with a
success/fail file, which can then aggregate the results.
