Mike,
I wouldn’t be concerned by the time reactor takes to
generate those files in dev mode. Has you said, your app will run in production
mode but if you want you can use the reactorCompiler in the util folder to
generate all your files so your first run in dev mode can be a bit faster.

Subject: [Reactor for CF] How long should it take to generate the files?
I'm wondering what my expectations should be as to how long
it takes for Reactor to generate the files it needs.
For example, with the reactor.xml set as <mode value="production"
/>, I have a small app doing not many things the page takes 400ms-450ms to
create and display, according to the CF Debug info.
When I set <mode value="development" />, delete the reactor
generated cfcs (and make no other changes) , the same page takes
66,500-67,000ms to display.
Does that sort of time difference sound reasonable? Or do I have
some issues I need to address?
(yes, I know that in the long run it doesnt make much difference, because once
the development work is finished, its all going to be in production mode, but
it does get a bit annoying waiting for a minute or more to see a page I'm
working on)
