Mike – You bring up an interesting point.  If you check out the trac site you’ll see that there is now a project roadmap here: http://trac.reactorframework.com/reactor/trac.cgi/roadmap?show=all.  You’ll note that we’re not too far from a Beta Candidate 2.  I have no new features I plan to implement and no planned changes to the API.

Furthermore, there are only 11 open bugs, 7 of which are required to enter BC2.  Most of these are only minor changes to the API or bug fixes.

The point of this is that the API is pretty solid now.  I haven’t had to make many (if any) changes to the API over the past week.  This is really a good thing.  I’ve been developing against Reactor full time with production apps for more than 6 months now.  This is the most solid the API has ever been.  This means that not only is BC2 around the corner but that bug fixes for Beta may also be easy.

- Doug

PS: the trac site is incorrectly indicating that we’re in BC2, we’re not yet but will be soon. I need to update that!

Actually it mightn't be such a bad thing to pause on the development from time to time anyway.  Let us all catch our breath and catch up with the current state of the product.

The versions are coming so thick and fast it's hard work to keep abreast of the changes and updates.

No one's whining about a desperately needed feature or a development-stopping bug that I know of so now might be a good time for you to have a breather now anyway Doug.
