Doug, this may not be much use to you but here goes:

last week I introduced reactor at some in-service training/workshops
and it was very well recieved. these coders have been stuck on early
fusebox methodology for ages and their eyes nearly fell out of their
heads, it was so easy to use (thanx to DougH's exellent docs to get
started).

so much so that it's inspired ppl to really sit up and take notice.
there's a small project comming up soon that will probably use it
as-is straight away (as a starter). we're pretty lucky that almost
evething we develop is for in-house use so refactoring for changes
isn't much of a problem (unlike developing for paying external
clients)

as for being in beta (second beta _candidate_ actually) and using it
in a production environment, it'll come down to how locked in the API
is. From what I've read on the site, it seems pretty much a done deal.

I've been specifically asking questions about CVS (and reactor)
looking for any "gotcha's" with the view to get it into our formal
development environment ASAP.

hope this helps.

Is anyone currently using Reactor in a production environment? I'm
considering doing so, but typically steer away from using Beta's in
production. We have a project that could make really good use of Reactor,
and I want to use it. I need to dish out the pros/cons of Reactor and
provide examples of others currently using it in a production mode and what
lessons they've learned from doing so. Please, anyone respond that can help
fight for my cause.

Thanks!
