I have a version freeze on the API so not to have to account for the API changes. I use one version for them all. Now to upgrade to a newer version, I test each one to ensure that the invocations don't break some place. This can be tedious but it tends to help me revisit applications for other "gotchas."

Teddy,
My problem is not the reactor.xml files but the core files themselves.
I have +- 5 different versions of reactor running, each with differences in the API. I cannot review all my apps each time reactor is upgraded.
Nowadays, there isn't API changes but when I started those apps …

I have a web root version of the /reactor folder with multiple reactor.xml configuration files for various applications.

Marc,
I personally work with a copy of reactor for each application because I
implemented reactor since the reaction time so lots of stuff have changed
(and you can't really imagine how much) so, since some of those apps are
already in production, I cannot afford using an unique version of reactor
for them all and the work to go through all my apps to upgrade them to the
latest svn version is just too crazy...
Since now the API is almost locked (maybe it's already locked), maybe you
can use a single folder for your future apps.
Up to you,
João Fernandes

Ah, I was using the wrong Tortoise function.
So I just grab the three recommended directories, and put them in a local
folder. What are you guys doing with them at that point, with the
understanding that all sites on the server would use the same reactor
directory? (i.e. I am NOT going to put a version of reactor in each site...
Just like all sites share the same FB5 core files).
Thanks everyone,
marc
