Hi, I am using MySQL 5.0. A bit (actually, a lot!) more
testing made clear that Reactor is not the problem here. I think somehow MG is
the cause of the problem. When I dump the form var, the character is shown
correct. When I dump the Record, the object is converted to a question mark. But when I manually use ‘MailingRecord.setMailing_subject(form.mailing_subject)’
and then save the record, it goes as expected. So, somehow, the converting of
the bean with form scope into the record object goes wrong. Any thoughts on where to
