Is there a correct way to retrive config settings, such as the DSN name, from the Factory ? We're doing a lot pulling up of SQL code in older objects, and as a first step would like them to get their DSN name from the reactor.xml so it's only configured in one place.
It seems something like factory.getObjectFactory().getConfig().getDsn() would work, except getObjectFactory isn't public. So it seems like adding a factory.getConfig method to call that would be the way forward ? What do people think ? I'm sure this has come up before but can't find it in the archives... -- Tom Chiverton Helping to competently synthesize bricks-and-clicks content **************************************************** This email is sent for and on behalf of Halliwells LLP.
