I looked in the archives, but unless I am missing something this has not been brought up on the list. I am working with an old legacy database with field names like "COMPANY_CODE" and "REFERENCE_ID", which I have aliased as "CompanyCode" and ReferenceId". I have stumbled across a problem in which I am trying to validate an object that includes my CompanyCode field as a PK. When I attempt to validate, I get the following exception:
coldfusion.runtime.TemplateProxy$InvalidMethodNameException: The method 'getCOMPANY_CODE' could not be found in component [path to my app ]\reactor\Record\BorrowerRecordmssql.cfc. To be fair I am not sure whether it is due to the field being a PK, or possibly if it is just a case that CompanyCode is the first field that it tries to validate. Regardless it appears that Reactor is ignoring the field alias in this case.
