Pimping Qasim! I'll have to take a look at it.

I've done some stuff with SVN and dojo, to make a nifty little
repository browser-- I do like the idea of a CF trac type deal.

I got the SVN code from a beautiful project named cfdiff,
which is nifty. Gotta drop the author a line and see about
licensing.

Please feel free to post stuff like this to this list (who am
I to talk, I reckon, but still), as cf-talk has so much traffic
it's hard to keep up with (personally).

Nothing wrong with a bit of CF here in community, neh? NEH!
:-)

Ted,

I never thought that this announcement can be thought as an advertisement
since it wasn't for any commercial product. I idea was that community might
benefit from this open source tool. Since I had used ColdSpring + Fusebox +
Reactor I wonder that people on these list will be interested in such work.
This is essentially meant for people new to these frameworks.

Ryan,

I do not have a demo setup yet but this is something, I am planning on in
the next few weeks.

Thanks

Qasim

1.0 beta of my new open source application, CFDefect, a ColdFusion based
Defect/Bug tracker. I started this project after looking at Ray Camden's
Lighthouse Pro which I use at my day job. This project is essentially a
replica of all the features of Lighthouse with a different architecture. I
wanted to experiment with various frameworks and provide CF community a
sample application that can be useful for new comers and probably seasoned
developers. The application uses a plethora of various frameworks,
techniques and patterns which includes but not limited to Fusebox,
ColdSpring, Reactor, AJAX, Aspect Oriented Programming, unobtrusive
Javascript and various others.

I might decide on closing one of these since it is difficult to maintain two
different sites

com if you have any question or see any problem/bugs. I am sure that there
are numerous things that can be improved and that is one of the prime reason
to release it as open source so that people can review and criticize the
code
