Well, I'm not sure how we could implement ignoring fields (and I'm not sure
it should be done anyhow).
What if one of the ignored fields was not null? Saving would always throw
an error.
If your hack of mapping them all to the same name works, then that might be
a cheap fix. However, I would actually suggest copying and editing the
generated code. You might need to do some manual work with it more often
than not, but then the interface for these objects would be consistent
across the board.

We're trying to make Reactor ignore columns by setting all the ones we
don't
want (about 90% of them) to the same alias.
Any other ideas ?
What would you make of changing the XML format so that
<field name="foo" ignore="true"/>
worked ?
