SUCCESS!!!! HURRAY!!!
FINALLY!!! The last piece of the puzzle... The reason I was getting twice as many readFields hits as Chris was some debugging code I put in that function. I was timing how long different parts of the call that Chris came up with the modification for, were taking in the CreateDictionary function. Once I removed them I'm not getting any readField hits in production mode. So to summarize: I started with a 43 second update with Reactor in production mode. With the enhancement I posted at the start of this thread it dropped down to 12 seconds. With the enhancement that Chris just came up with it is now down to 1 second.
