Thanks Tom I found my solution.
I wasn't deleting the 'Queries' folder under the project folder. Just the DAO and Gateway objects etc. So it meant even though the objects updated. The qRead was still using a cached query. Also, I added the 'Trusted Cache' snippet to my refresh script just in case any objects were stored in trusted cache on my production server.
