by itself is a serious liability, here's yet more evidence.

One of Common Music's major improvments is
"SAL syntax (no LISP experience necessary)", which you

The big improvement for Common Music
is to stop using s-expressions. But again, they have to roll their own.

While it's often helpful to create specialized languages, there's
no reason EVERYONE has to roll their own incompatible language
to hide s-expressions.  A common format that could be used
by many, as-is, would be a big help.
