Okay, I have an initial autoconfiscation, already pushed. This changes how you
download and build it, so I also updated the Tutorial page. It's just the
usual:
  ./configure --prefix && make
and if you want it installed, "make install".

The key source files are now in /src.

To simplify use, I also generate *local* scripts that *ALWAYS* use the local
version. That'll be helpful for testing.

The tests are distributed, but I haven't integrated them into "make check";
they don't easily work that way. I think we need to change the test framework.

Any suggestions on the test framework?

I also merged Alan Manuel Gloria's bundle posted "Thu, 26 Jul 2012 05:59:17
+0800".

At this point, we can easily do "make dist" and post an easily-installable
version. I think we should wait until the test framework is updated, and a few
clean-ups would be wise. But after that, it's not hard to argue for a
first-cut release. We need to get this into people's hands so they can start
thinking about it.
