Ballot 6 voted to approve Chibi as a "reference implementation":

It turns out Chibi uses {...}, optionally, for something else - it adds a
{brace} syntax for user-defined type literals. This is not part of the
standard, as far as I know, but it may make curly-infix acceptance as-is more
challenging.
This is implemented in Chibi's "sexp.c" file, starting at:
#if SEXP_USE_OBJECT_BRACE_LITERALS
If they like Chibi so much, that may be another implementation we want to
submit proposed patches for.
