I've just released version 1.0.0 of the "readable" project here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/readable/files/ This is already in the "master" branch of the git repo.
THANK YOU EVERYONE VERY MUCH for all your help, including testing this and providing great feedback. We successfully got to version 1.0.0, and I think it's a very fine result. We have rigorously-defined specs, implementations in Scheme and Common Lisp (as well as a reference implementation in Java), lots of regression tests (that it passes), scripts to make it easier to use, and configuration scripts that make it easy to install on a variety of systems. I especially want to give a special thanks to Alan Manuel K. Gloria, who's been a great collaborator/helper/co-conspirator :-). I also want to thank the MANY who have provided help and constructive feedback, including (alphabetically by last name): Kartik Agaram, Arne Babenhauserheide, Eduardo Bellani, Ben Booth, Per Bothner, Beni Cherniavsky-Paskin, John Cowan, Shiro Kawai, Jos Koot, Francisco Loaiza-Lemos, Alpheus Madsen, Egil Muller, John David Stone, Neil Toronto, Mark H. Weaver, Niklas Ulvinge, David Vanderson, Dale Visser, and many others whose names should be here but aren't. Enjoy!! --- David A.
