I have found MBS to be an excellent value for the money. Sure there are some functions I could write myself (and some I have rewritten for one reason or another), but there are others that I wouldn't even know where to start (such as JPEG improter / exporter, Windows .lnk file resolving, and a lot of others)

There are other functions, such as FTP List Parsing that I've tried to write myself, but failed to produce something as robust as what Christian has provided.

Chances are there will be things within MBS that make it worthwhile for you as well, and a few that you might think "I could've done that myself." It's those things that would've stumped you that really make MBS such a great value.

Last thing I'll say about it is this... You may be comfortable writing the declares for Mac and maybe Windows, but I've noticed how many things Christian has been adding linux support for as well. That's a lot of declares handled for you.

hth,

Brian
