Lots of "killer apps" are written in Obj-C or Obj-C++. But that's
mostly because Obj-C does not stop you from using C++!

Obj-C is still a C derivative and can be used at the same low level as
plain old ANSI C since it is a superset of ANSI C

I think that's the same thing I said.

That's not so clear. Objective-C is a strict superset of C; any Objective-C compiler should be able to compile a C program. I'm not sure that this is the case for C++.
