You want to open the mp3 as editable movie not as sound
Dim M as EditableMovie
Dim F as FolderItem
F = PATH TO THE MP3 FILE
M = F.OpenEditableMovie
MoviePlayer.Movie = M
MediaPlayer.Play
That will start playing immediately.
