My rbvexim (prjtool) deals with ALL these things nicely, even with
RB 5.5.5
in the upcoming 1.1.4 version.
I also forgot to mention that XML files do not contain encrypted
items (but
my solution does handles these as well), although this is probably
no issue
for you.
Lastly, I like to point out that while CVS is already installed on
OS X,
Subversion can very easily also be locally installed, i.e. work
without
a server setup. And there's no CVS UI client I know of that's as
nice as
"snvX" is.
definitely check out rbvexim. i've been using it for the last few
weeks, and it has been working great. i used to use cvs and external
RB xmls, but if you ever try to diff/merge in a text editor, you will
appreciate the much more human readable format of rbvexim.
If you are looking at cvs on the mac, check out CVL. http://
www.sente.ch/software/cvl/
its a simple, easy, clean (and most importantly to me --- its not
java!!!!) cvs gui.
